2nd Dan (Nidan) awarded by the Dai Nihon Iaido Renmei. The recipient is expected to clearly understand the fundamentals of iaido practice. The recipient may be eligible from one year after taking 1st Dan.
The patch for 2nd Dan is a white base with black writing and an orange horizontal stripe.
