Kancho

A Kancho is the head of an entire organisation. The organisation may exist as an individual dojo, but it may also have multiple dojos or even shibu in them when they reach a certain size. It should be pointed out that while there are no specific requirements to be a Kancho, they must be of a high enough standard to be recognised by their students and by any organisations that they belong to. They will need to liaise directly with a body that registers them to ensure that standards are maintained.
