A Fukukancho is the deputy head of an entire organisation and is commissioned with assisting the Kancho in managing and making vital decisions essential to the successful running of the dojo. They may already hold other positions such as Dojocho, Shibucho, or Shihan, and they are expected to be in the very top levels of the organisation in terms of iaido technique, character, and management skills.
